Design
At both The Kudzu Gazette and The Maine Campus I have done a great deal of page and Web design. At The Gazette I worked as layout manager and continued to design pages even as editor in chief. I designed two versions of kudzugazette.com and managed the site for three years, as well.At The Maine Campus I served as production assistant, mainly working on the style and culture section, which involved complex, graphic-oriented layouts. I also redesigned and managed The Campus's Web site, as well as launched blogs.mainecampus.com. During my time at The Campus as Web editor I have had the chance to put my PHP skills to work, building many custom backend solutions. (For those of you wondering, I'm still at The Campus, training for the editor in chief position.)
At The University of Maine I currently manage the IT Web site, though I can not take credit for the design. (Props to James Daniels for that.) I have, however, gotten the chance to do some custom PHP and flash work for the site.
Examples of my work are available on the portfolio pages.
